Terms of use

Royalty Clerk is run by AGI Solutions LLC. It compares oil and gas royalty statements with public records, publishes lease, operator, field and county pages built from those records, and offers calculators, guides and letter drafts. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

We are not a law firm, an accounting firm or a landman, and nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice. A finding says what the records show and what to ask the operator. It does not say what you are legally owed. Talk to a lawyer or a tax preparer before you rely on a number in a dispute, a filing or a sale.

The letters we prepare are drafts. You read them, change what you like, and send them yourself. We do not contact operators for you.

Public records are late and get revised: the Railroad Commission runs two to three months behind, and an operator can amend a report. We read statements with an AI model and check the arithmetic, but a photo or a scan can still be misread. We say “can’t verify” where the records cannot answer, and the dollar figures are estimates.

We work to keep the site correct. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will fix it. We cannot promise that every finding is right or that a finding will lead to a payment.

The statements you upload are yours. You give us permission to store them, read them (including with the AI service described in the privacy policy), compare them with public records, and produce your findings, reports and letters. We use them for nothing else.

Upload only statements you have the right to use, for example your own or those of an estate or family member you act for. Keep your sign-in link private: anyone who has it can open your account.

What is free and what costs money is on the pricing page, and the price is shown before you pay. Card payments go through Stripe. While the site is in its launch period, signed-in owners have full access at no charge. We will say so on the pricing page before that changes.

A price change never applies to something you have already paid for.

The public pages are for your own use. Please do not:

• copy the site in bulk, or send it so many requests that it slows down for others;
• try to get into accounts, files or systems that are not yours;
• upload something that is not a royalty or lease document, or that holds malware.

You are welcome to link to any page. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, AGI Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited.

You can stop at any time and delete your data from your account page. We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page before it applies. The date above is the date of the last change.
